The Construction Process
The choice of construction methods and materials is essential in your project. We assist all our clients in making the most appropriate choices to meet their requirements and ensure that their project is the best it can be. Mount Everest Construction came from very humble beginnings so we fully understand the importance of being cost efficient. We always endeavor to save our clients money, wherever possible.
Ground floors are generally created out of concrete and screed, whilst floors on upper stories are generally created out of timber (suspended floors). Both can have underfloor heating incorporated, removing the need for traditional heaters.
Timber frame or brick/blockwork are the two main options for constructing the “shell” of the building. Both have specific benefits with regards to the construction process, overall structure and aesthetics of the property.
Roofs can be finished with materials such as slate, tiles or roofing panels. This choice helps the property blend into the local environment. Roof lights on pitched roofs and roof lanterns on flat roofs help bring natural light into the property.
